    Custom domain is required for use some feature in Salesforce.

    • It is used for display Lightning components in Lightning component tabs,  pages, App Builder, or lightning standalone apps.
    • It is also used for single sign-on with authentication providers and external identity providers.

    Hi Aditya,

    When My Domain isn’t deployed in your org, user interface controls related to Lightning components may be hidden or inactive. Lightning components added to pages, tabs, and so on, don’t run and may be omitted, or display a placeholder error message.

    It is also used for SSO, with authentication providers and external identity providers.
