Multiple Report Sheets as VF Page

We are creating some reports (tables) as multiple tabs on a single vf page. VF Pages are being considered because the reports are highly customised and contain complex formulas. Is is possible that upon download, the VF page would be downloaded as a single excel file with multiple tabs?
