How to persist the checkbox status while paging in Salesforce Lightning?

Hello,

II have a checkbox record column showing on a lightning page with pagination, when user checks checkboxes in page1 and navigates to page2 and comese back to page1 the checkboxes whichc are checked are getting unchecked. Is there any way to hold the checkbox status while pagingm any helo would be appreciated.
