Inline editing in apex:pageBlockTable using inlineEdit mode
I can possibly do inline editing in <apex:pageBlockTable ... using mode="inlineEdit" but how can I achieve this in <apex:repeat .. ?

You can do it by using tag <inlineeditsupport>
