Roll up summary to count attachments on Salesforce Opportunity
Hi everyone,
Is it possible to create a roll-up summary field on an Opportunity record that counts the attachments on the record?
What I need is to see all the Opportunity records that have or haven't got an attachment at the 'closed' stage.

Hi Kumar,
I don't think without writing apex trigger it is not possible. You can't create workflow or validation rules on Attachments and you can't do a roll-up summary field either. So You can write a trigger that will count the no. of attachments and write the same into a custom field on Opportunity object.
