If It is possible to bypass the api in salesforce?

No, We cannot bypass Api. As Api stand for Application Programming interface so we need a Api to interact with our third party platform
as we need a interface so that it can interact with our third party platform. For interacting with third party we need some interacting platform where we can perform various operation. That the reason we need the Api so that the salesforce and the third party can interact with each other.
